Welcome to the Level 1 of esteemed Project GAURAV - Foundation Course in BFSI offered by NSE Academy. Project GAURAV is a skill development program for the youth of Uttarakhand. This comprehensive 20-hour course is meticulously designed to provide a basic understanding of capital markets in India.

Course Features(Self-Paced Learning)

Module 1

Introduction to Foundation Course in BFSI: Gain foundational knowledge of the Banking, Financial Services, and Insurance sector architecture.

Module 2

Mutual Funds: Explore the intricacies of mutual funds, including types, benefits, and investment strategies.

Module 3

Capital Market: Understand the functioning of capital markets, securities, and market dynamics.
 

Module 4

Income Tax and GST: Learn the essentials of income tax and Goods and Services Tax, their calculations, and implications.

Module 5

Fin-Tech: Dive into the evolving world of financial technology, its applications, and future trends.
 

Landscape of the Project

This is a graded course with a mandatory assessment at the end. Learners are advised to complete the self-paced learning of all 5 modules before attempting the assessment.

Assessment Questions: 25

Marking Scheme

Each question carries 4 marks; no negative marking.

Passing Criteria

Achieve a score of 60% or higher to successfully complete the course.

Certificate

Downloadable from the Learning Management System (LMS) upon successful completion.

Level 1 (Foundation Course in BFSI)

Level 2 (In-depth training for regulatory exam).

Level 3 (Advanced Program for Employment)

Terms & Conditions
  1. Students would have two options to enrol for the Level 1 Foundation course in BFSI and to pass the exam successfully.
  2. Option I: Participants can enrol for this self-paced Level 1 Foundation course in BFSI
    • Participants who successfully pass the Level 1 self-paced course will receive a certificate.
    • Participants who successfully pass Level 1 self-paced course will also receive ONDC gift vouchers worth ₹ 250 only.
    • To promote merit-based incentivisation, participants who score above 75% in this self-paced course will receive ONDC gift vouchers worth ₹ 1000 only (this includes the amount of ONDC gift voucher of ₹ 250 for passing the exam)
    • Participants should successfully pass Level 1 self-paced course exam by 15th June 2024 will qualify for above vouchers.
    • This initiative is to enhance our reach and mobilize more participants amongst the state of Uttarakhand youth only.
  3. Option II: Participants will have the choice to take this course in classroom mode (by NSE appointed trainers) starting 15th June 2024 for Level 1 Foundation course in BFSI and/or doubt-clearing.
  4. Information regarding Level 2 and Level 3 will be provided once participants move to the respective levels..
  5. The organizer’s decision shall be final and binding.
  6. You will be required to provide your personal details (such as name, email address, mobile number, city, etc.). By submitting your personal details, you give consent to these details being used for the purpose of this course and project.
  7. Once the mobile number and email address is entered, it cannot be updated later. Be careful while entering these details as it will be required for claiming the rewards.
  8. Organizers will not accept any responsibility for entries that are lost, are late or incomplete or have not been transmitted due to computer error or any other error beyond the organizer’s reasonable control. Please note proof of submission of the entry is not proof of receipt of the same.
  9. Organizers reserve the right to amend or withdraw the course at any time.
  10. All disputes/legal complaints are subject to the jurisdiction of Mumbai only. Expenses incurred to complete or pass the course shall be borne by candidates.
